Meet the New Faces at The Retreat House and BFR Global!

We believe deeply in creating space for rest, connection, and transformation. It’s not just about the place-it’s the people who help hold it, steward it, and infuse it with warmth and intention. We’re thrilled to introduce you to four (well technically three) incredible new team members who you will be seeing around The Retreat House and on the Be Free Revolution team. Each of them brings their own giftings, energy, and heart to the table, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Kaitlyn Frizzell — Engagement Coordinator TRH & BFR Global

Kaitlyn joins us with a heart for hospitality, a knack for organization and creativity, and a passion for making sure people get the support and care they need. She’s the friendly face behind much of our social media, retreat communication, and engagement. You’ll see her around greeting groups and clients and helping ensure each guest feels seen and cared for.

Kaitlyn Frizzell has spent the past decade working in education, as a teacher, interventionist, and academic support coordinator. Kaitlyn is a people-person through and through, and she finds deep joy in connection, encouragement, and learning. She and her husband, John, are true partners in life and love making memories with their two children, Darcy and Hadley.

Joan Adams — Operations & Finance Manager for TRH & BFR Global

Joan brings wisdom, structure, and a steady presence to TRH and the BFR Global teams. As a part of our Collective, Joan already knows and carries the heart of The Retreat House. Now stepping into support role as well, she is taking her gift of administration to help as we grow. Her heart for details, experience in administration, and gift of discernment she is already making a meaningful impact. Joan will continue to offer counseling care with clients. Anteelah Love — Summer Intern at TRH

We’re so excited to have Anteelah with us this summer! Getting to know her as she has been out to the property for various retreats and open hours affirmed that she would be an incredible addition to our summer team! Full of life, experience, leadership, and love for people, she’s jumping into all things Retreat House—from preparing spaces to supporting guests to offering her own insights and perspective.

In 2022, she earned her master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, further allowing her to serve her community through a trauma-informed and healing-centered lens. In her spare time, she enjoys winning card games with her husband, spending time with her children, crafting, and relaxing with a good book or favorite show. Her eagerness to learn and serve is contagious, and we are excited for you guys to connect with her while on property.

Britain Steward— Summer Intern at TRH

Britain brings creativity, curiosity, and an excited presence to our space. Britain is studying art education at UT Chattanooga and we are thrilled to see her passion for art will infuse some new projects and art room additions! Whether working behind the scenes or connecting with guests, she brings thoughtfulness and intention into everything she touches. We’re excited to see how her voice and perspective shape this summer season.

Britain is Georgia born and Memphis raised. She loves spending time with her family and outdoors and has a passion for using art as a tool for reflection, expression, rest, and worship.
