About Us

The Retreat House was born out of a long journey of saying yes to God’s invitations- beginning in 2011 through Be Free Revolution and global mission work in Kenya and Uganda. What started as a response to serve others grew into a deeper understanding of God’s heart for healing, presence, and transformation. Those early years shaped a commitment to loving well, creating meaningful experiences, and pointing people to Christ in thoughtful and intentional ways.

Over time, this calling unfolded into a more contemplative rhythm, inviting practices of rest, listening, and trust. Space was created for people to encounter God not only in action, but in stillness. A clear need emerged for environments that were not one-size-fits-all, but carefully curated to meet people where they are.

In the years surrounding the global pandemic, that need became even more evident. Small gatherings, silent retreats, and formative experiences led to a clear vision: a dedicated place where people could step away and be guided toward healing, clarity, and wholeness. After prayerful discernment, that vision found a home in Eads, Tennessee- giving rise to The Retreat House.

Today, The Retreat House offers thoughtfully designed experiences that integrate retreat, counseling, coaching, spiritual direction, and communal gatherings. Each offering honors the whole person- mind, body, and soul, creating space for meaningful restoration rather than hurried solutions.

The Retreat House is not simply a destination, but a space of invitation—a thin space where heaven and earth draw a little closer together. A place to slow down, lay aside expectations, and encounter the presence of God as you become more present to yourself and to what is being restored within. Rooted in a global story of faith and shaped by years of listening, it is a place where healing, presence, and purpose come to life.
