Praying through the Psalms Half Day Retreat 2/27

Throughout history, the Psalms have served as both hymnal and prayer book for God’s people. It is a rich library of songs, poems, and prayers, where God invites the Psalmist to meet honestly with Him. From praise to lament, worry to hope, and even in intercession for one another, the Psalms give voice to the full range of human emotion, showing us there is no need to hide or pretend when we express our hearts to Him. 

In this retreat, we will use the psalms to slow down, gently explore our inner world, and respond to God’s invitation to encounter Him honestly in our every circumstance. May our time in the Psalms and in His Word teach us how to come honestly to Him, revealing more of who He is and His great love for you and me.
